What’s actually inside the cross?+
A Raspberry Pi computer, a far-field microphone and a full-range speaker, all set into a routed pocket behind the center of the cross. Nothing shows from the front: it looks like a plain wooden cross.
Does it really know the whole Bible?+
Yes. The full text of the Bible, all 66 books, is loaded into the model’s working memory for every conversation, so answers come from Scripture itself and every quote is cited by book, chapter and verse.
Which translation does it use?+
It ships with public-domain translations (King James Version and World English Bible). More translations are on our list for after launch.
Is it always listening?+
It only responds after its wake phrase, and the microphone can be switched off with a button on the back. We don’t sell or share your conversations.
